There’s no better way to experience the history and culture of a place than through its food. On our Newfoundland Food Tour, you’ll eat your way through downtown St. John’s, stopping at six local restaurants to try traditional and modern takes on classic dishes. From savory wild game and fresh seafood to sweet local treats, you’ll get a true taste of Newfoundland’s unique culinary heritage.
But this tour is more than just food—it’s the stories behind it. Led by our passionate and entertaining guides, you’ll learn about the people, history, and quirky traditions that shape this province. From a CFA (Come From Away) selling beloved Newfoundland pastries to a haunted pub that inspired a TV set to a former fruit stand literally built on the ashes of the Great Fire, each stop has a tale to tell.
Come hungry! If you arrive gut-foundered, by the time we finish our walk, you’ll be stogged.
